The audioquest forest dissipated enough of the fog for me to see the instruments and musicians but there was still plenty of fog in the room. Most visibly speed is about transferring large files as quickly as possible or carrying enough data for hd video. The key is this cable requires days of run in before you hear the best of it the new one sounds shed in the mid range with heavy top and low ends.
